Arthur Copes Ph.d.
Dr. Arthur Copes received extensive medical orthotics training at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois, and Tulane/Delgado Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana. As well, he holds a Phd in Orthotics form Columbia Pacific University in San Rafeal, California.

Dr. Copes brings to this conference over twenty-five years of practical, hands-on experience in the non-surgical treatment of idiopathic scoliosis. He has developed some forty bio-mechanical patent and patent-pending products. He has successfully helped hundreds of physicians treat their own family members, as well as their patients ranging from infants to age sixty-five.

Patients seek his help from all corners of the globe including the continents of South America, Africa, and Australia, and countries such as Germany, Belgium, Mexico, South Korea, China, and Canada. The vast majority of patients are between the ages of nine to forty-five.

The secrets of obtaining measurable curve correction are revealed in the Scoliosis Treatment Advanced Recovery System (S.T.A.R.S). The S.T.A.R.S. Program will advance by decades your knowledge of non-surgical correction of scoliosis.

  The presentation will include:

• Chiropractic Adjustments (intesegmental & flexion distraction) to address subluxations in the scoliotic spine, facilitate biomechanical realignment, increase range of motion and decrease pain.

• Dynamic Bracing to address point-specific areas of spinal misalignment in the upper thoracic, mid thoracic and lumbar region through the use of pneumatic force vector pads that gently encourage curvature correction through air injection.

• Three Phase Exercise to address a wide range of muscular inadequacies shared by scoliotic patients of all ages and degrees of severity.

• Scoliotic Muscle Stimulation Therapy (SMST) that employs Russian stimulation therapy to recondition the paraspinal and gross lateral torso muscles of the scoliotic patient.

• Ocular Vestibular Therapy to address righting reflex deficiencies through a comprehensive series of cross-crawling techniques and cervical traction.

• Nutritional Therapy to address a vast array of biochemical deficits typically present in idiopathic scoliotic patients.
