Dr. Leander Eckard, D.C.
He graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in 1964. He practised in Washington State for almost forty years. He has taught at the Parkers Seminars for over twenty years and served on the Board of Regents of Parker College of Chiropractic for fifteen years.

He invented the first Motorised Flexion Table for Chiropractic use in 1981 and has most recently been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Alumni of Parker College of Chiropractic.

He also received special recognition from the Board of Regents when they bestowed upon him the honour to name the college flexion distraction lab, Leander Lab in perpetuity.

Lecture:

"Motorized Flexion Distraction"

Motorized flexion distraction allows the Chiropractor to place the patient's spine into motion while in the prone position and to palpate for fixation between each spinal segment and once denoting such a fixation provides for the correction of the fixation by the introduction of resistance opposite to the motion of the table.

DMX, Digital Motion X-ray will demonstrate the benefits of motorized flexion distraction by allowing the doctor to palpate each individual motion unit of the entire spine in the long axis plane. Lateral flexion allows for the consideration of the rotatory component of the motion segments.

Workshop:

"Subluxation Fixation Mobilization using Motorized Flexion Distraction"

The workshop will allow attendees to observe the technique whereby we take a patient that presents with pain with motion and restriction of motion and with spinal fixation and uneven leg length and first evaluate the patient while the spine is in passive distraction and make notes of the irregularities.

Then through a deliberate protocol restore those areas of fixation to normal motion and leg length balance.
