ACADEMIC
PROGRAMME
"PANORAMA
OF CHIROPRACTIC TECHNIQUES"
 |
INTRODUCTION
Chiropractic
as a profession has many special characteristics, most
important of which is the variety of its treatment
techniques!
Over
the years, chiropractic has preserved its traditional'
high velocity low amplitude manipulative techniques, while
at the same time it has managed to modify, enrich and improve
them to a great extent or even go beyond manipulation.
Through the exchange of information and knowledge with
other disciplines, it has absorbed other techniques, as
well as developed new revolutionary and unique ones. |
Today,
the range of techniques available to the practicing Chiropractors
is very broad, enabling them to choose the best to suit
them as practitioners, according to the needs of their
patients. Some of the techniques are well documented and
evidence
based, yet others, although widely used, are still considered
controversial.
This
convention will present many chiropractic techniques, both mainstream'
and controversial', giving their instructors and developers
a forum of inter-exchange of ideas and experiences, by
presenting all up-to-date research and clinical evaluation
of their technique, and participants the possibility to
see and learn new techniques, revise the used ones, and
compare their efficacy and usefulness in their practice.
