Vassilis graduated as a Chiropractor from AECC in 1983 and upon returning to his home country, Greece, he enrolled at the Medical School of Athens University, which he completed in 1990. In 1997 he completed his medical speciality, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He has served as board member of the Ellenic Chiropractors' Association since 1994, and its president between 1999-2003. He has been appointed ECU Convention Academic Organiser since 2001 and he is practising Chiropractic in a private practice in Athens.
